Grandview Senior High School Reviews

GHS has a great member staff, most of the teachers are great, some examples are Mrs. Dunham, Mr. Stolz, Mr. Rudolph, Ms. Kimes. However, it also exists persons that interfere with this wonderful enviroment, I prefere not to say names, when you have an opportunitty I suggest you talk with your child and asks him or her how kind the people in the office is. Thank you.

This school was a decent school until recently. ACT scores at an all time low. Attendance is at an all time low. Suspensions are at an all time high. This school is now a travesty and i think everyone knows why.

GHS is a great school under 'new Management', the new Principal Shunton Hammond is caring, professional and there for the Students, Parents and especially the staff. The building is clean, organized, well disciplined and up to date. The students are up beat, energetic and awesome. The staff is well qualified, professional, caring and unified. The school is a great learning environment!

I've gone to Grandview schools from Kindergarden to present day which I am a current junior. This school lacks dicipline and student respect. There are a handful of amazing teachers but not enough to make up for the ones who could care less. Grandview use to be a wonderful place and school, but somewhere along the line people stopped caring. Grandview still has something about it thats differnt than anywhere else, but if we don't work to change soon we will be in too deep.

I think Grandview High is an excellent school. It has its flaws, as every school does, but overall it is a great school to go to. There are many extracurricular activities to chose from and is very diverse. The teachers and principals here not only teach very well but are also very fun and actually care about students. Not to mention that they have an excellent band program.

My children have attended Grandview schools for 8 years. My oldest is currently a senior at GHS. The quality of the education there can be easily demonstrated by looking at any of one of the yearbooks for the past 3 years. The spelling and grammar errors are shocking to say the least. The school does have several wonderful teachers, but they are offset by teachers who probably should not have been given a high school diploma, much less a college degree. The band program is excellent, so we stay here and choose to supplement their education with outside classes.

Grandview High School is a great place as long as you are a football player. The school spirit is terrible and most of the people attend the school sports activities to socialize. You cannot get the students involved or the administration. The principle lacks spirit and does not support all activities. My children have been attending Grandview Schools for the past 13 years and it is steadily gettin worse. How can the kids have spirit and get involved if the school teachers and pricipal does not. Need to lead by example.
