Merriam Elementary School Reviews

I have had all three of my own children go to Merriam K-6. We transfered from another school because of the quality teachers and the open, welcoming feel of Merriam vs. the large, closed classrooms of our home school. There are a wide variety of activities for children of all abilities and a very active PTA. Merriam offers art, strings, band, choir, sports, plus many other activities that enhance the learning environment. I would highly recommend Merriam to any family.

Merriam has the best teachers. They have great activities for kids to be involved in. I'd recomend this school over any other school ever!

Merriam Elementary is a small neighborhood school that has excellant Parent, Student, and Teacher relationships. It is a Title 1 school so the students receive extra help in the areas of math and reading at no cost to the parents. The small population of students makes it easy to get to know other families. The PTA provides many activities throughout the year for the whole family to be involved in from carnivals to a silent auction. The PTA also sponsers a Skate Night once a month at the local skating rink.
