Smith-Hale Junior High School Reviews

Students are horrible and disrespectful! Not a good learning enviornment.

This school doesnt have very good standerts for students.

This school has crappy lunches bad teachers they think we cant hear them talking to another teacher about 'bad stuff' it gets tiring at times.

This school is horrible. My grades were slipping because of all the Bullying. I am much happier at my new school Submitted by Gabe L

I have been a teacher at Smith-Hale for 3 years. We have been making a lot of changes to make it a better and safer place for our students. We just received our MAP scores and we have improved tremendously. So we are headed in the right direction. The violence in our school has also decreased tremendously. I love teaching at Smith-Hale and I love the students that I work with.

This school needs to clean its act up and its a disgrace. Students are growing up in a bad environment so when they get older they think what they are doing now is right. They will end up not learning anything except violents and bad language. We send our children to school to be educated if i do not see this happening i will have to talk to the school district.

Beware of the students' behavior at this school. The things I've seeen are students slamming doors on teacher, bad lauguage towards adults and other students, peer pressure not to excel to higher levels, put downs, over crowded gyms and occational fighting, spitting on teacher, breaking blue ice backs and smearing on teachers back, ditching, stealing from lockers or dress room, changing grades due to parent pressure, lack of aerobic participation, sports program loss to other higher star districts, spraying aersol in teachers face, children threatening to sue if injured during participation, thin kids are made fun of along with different color tones of the skin (carmel, chocolate, vanilla.) Some really good teachers! However, a lot of bad attitude coming from students that are learning behaviors from TV.

man smith rock we bad but we working on it are school the best
