Description:
Saxophonist Richie Cole created the Alto Madness Orchestra in the early 1990s, an innovative concept and sound of an eighteen-piece big band using only seven instruments – four of which are horns. As a composer, arranger and educator, Cole has been deeply involved in many areas of jazz that have afforded him countless opportunities to work with musicians all over the world and produce over 50 recordings.

Saxophonist Brad Leali has performed in a number of settings in a variety of musical genres, including a stint as the lead alto saxophonist and musical director for the Harry Connick, Jr. Orchestra, a five-year tenure with the Grammy-nominated Count Basie Orchestra and as the leader of his own 18 piece jazz orchestra. He continues to lead his own quartet across the globe and currently serves as the Director of the Jazz Studies Program at Texas Tech University.
